Daniel Keyes

Daniel Keyes (1927–2014) was an American author and professor best known for Flowers for Algernon, which won the Hugo Award as a short story in 1960 and the Nebula Award as a novel in 1966. His explorations of consciousness, identity, and intelligence drew from his background in psychology and his work with students with disabilities.
