Gregory Mcdonald

Gregory Mcdonald (1937–2008) was an American journalist and novelist best known for creating the irrepressible investigative reporter Fletch, a character who appeared in eleven novels. He won two Edgar Awards from the Mystery Writers of America, the only author to win for both a novel and its sequel. His sharp, dialogue-driven style was groundbreaking in crime fiction.
