Luis Alberto Urrea

Luis Alberto Urrea is a Mexican-American author and professor born on the US-Mexico border, whose work consistently explores the cultures, landscapes, and people of that liminal world. His nonfiction book The Devil's Highway was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. He teaches at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is the author of more than twenty books.
