Mary Karr

Mary Karr is an American poet and memoirist, professor of literature at Syracuse University, and author of three bestselling memoirs. Her debut, The Liars' Club, is widely credited with sparking the 1990s memoir boom. She is also an acclaimed poet whose collections include Sinners Welcome.
