Michelle Zauner

Michelle Zauner is a Korean-American author and musician who records under the name Japanese Breakfast. Born in Seoul and raised in Oregon, she channelled her grief over her mother's death into both her acclaimed albums and this debut memoir. Crying in H Mart debuted at number two on the New York Times bestseller list in 2021.
