Sarah Waters

Sarah Waters is a Welsh novelist known for her intricately plotted Victorian and wartime fiction with lesbian themes. Her novels include Tipping the Velvet, Affinity, and The Little Stranger. Fingersmith (2002) was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and the Orange Prize for Fiction.
