Ted Chiang

Ted Chiang is an American science fiction writer based in the Seattle area, celebrated for stories that combine rigorous scientific thinking with profound emotional depth. He has won multiple Hugo, Nebula, and Locus Awards, and his debut collection Stories of Your Life and Others inspired the 2016 film Arrival. Chiang publishes sparingly but each work is considered an event in the genre.
