Viktor E. Frankl

Viktor E. Frankl was an Austrian psychiatrist, Holocaust survivor, and founder of logotherapy, a form of existential analysis. He spent three years in Nazi concentration camps, including Auschwitz, and emerged to write one of the most influential books of the twentieth century. He taught at the University of Vienna Medical School until he was nearly ninety years old.
